Chief Executive Officer

Welcome back from the summer. We enter the rest of the year with the digital out-of-home industry continuing to show strong growth in the face of worldwide economic turbulence. A recent forecast from Screen Digest and Gold Media shows the European market quadrupling over the next five years. Similar forecasts continue to show strong double-digit growth in North America and Asia with retailers realizing that catching the shopper at the point of purchase could help overcome sluggish retail sales. It is also becoming less expensive to put the systems in, with rental software-as-a-service models matching costs to advertising revenues and sales uplifts. We have some case studies in this newsletter from Toys R Us, Pharmacy Channel and Marks Work Wearhouse to illustrate some of these points. This edition of EnQii e-News also explores some other key industry topics including the effective use of digital merchandising and a fascinating round table discussion between industry practitioners on some of the pitfalls of digital media.

In this issue, we are pleased to announce the launch of Campaign Edition of our RemoteTransfer (RT) software. This version of RT is aimed at advertising networks and allows them to flexibly and effectively manage advertising campaigns across large networks. We hope you try it out and find that it is a powerful tool to optimize revenues across your networks.

We continue to win clients globally. In this issue, we’ll focus on one of our major Middle Eastern wins – the MoFakro Group – together with some great rollouts in the US – The Golf Network and Fred Meyer. We believe we are now rolling out some of the largest networks in North America – and are making a major effort in the industry to help increase ancillary resources – installers, hardware suppliers and so on. To this end we are very pleased to announce that Stu Armstrong, who runs our North American business, has been elected Chairman of the advisory board for the Digital Signage Association, one of the major global industry bodies.

So, we wish our clients and partners continued growth and I encourage you to visit our website at www.enqii.com and let us know what you think! Please email me your questions, comments or suggestions on what you would like to see in forthcoming editions of this newsletter.

Best,

Ajay Chowdhury
