EnQii - Create,Control,Capture

“Tech Talk”   by Max Stevens-Guille

An update on EnQii’s new EnGage platform.

We were delighted to launch our new EnGage platform at the Digital Signage Expo in Las Vegas. The reaction to EnGage has been extremely positive.

The platform has two major aspects to it – a sophisticated web based content and advertising management portal and state of the art player software. The new platform provides more flexibility over how content is managed, packaged, and targeted.

The content and advertising management software is based on the latest web 2.0 techniques to provide the tools to manage large networks of players and large content libraries. EnGage’s campaign capability provides target advertising based on location, audience and time while ensuring an engaging presentation. EnGage’s local message manager, OnSight Messenger, enables users at a local level to instantly create messages to support in-store announcements and advertising. Additionally, EnGage can also include InTempo which provides background audio-playback – saving significant costs for users who require in-store audio and video.

The player software features a flexible screen layout made up of content zones. These zones can be constructed using EnGage’s new WYSIWYG screen editor. Zones may be synchronized to support a wide range of video experiences including playback of video and associated textual content. EnGage features the ability to grab a screen image at any time to show exactly what is playing on any given screen, and like previous EnQii products, is able to distribute content very efficiently across thousands of players.

Migration plans are being put in place for EnGage, so please call on your local account manager for more information.

The content and advertising management software is available now and the new player will be available in Q4.
