Message from CEO
Welcome to our second half review for 2009. We are pleased to say that EnQii has had a strong 2009 and as a group we achieved record revenues for the year, even under difficult economic circumstances.
We won over 15 new clients in the year across the world in advertising, merchandising and informational networks and are pleased to say that, notwithstanding the slow down in the economy, our key clients like Care Media, Compass, McDonalds and many other continue to roll their networks out as they see the ROI benefits of digital signage coming through, whether it be in increased advertising sales, increased basket size or reduced operational costs.

We now have several ‘real world’ analyses of ROI achieved by clients and plan to publish some results in the new year to show people what is achievable by a digital signage network that has the right content, the right technology and the right customer base.
We believe the industry will continue to grow in 2010. Recent forecasts from Frost & Sullivan, PQ Media and DisplaySearch show the industry continuing to grow in double digit numbers for the next 5 years, far outstripping most of the other media industries. While economic challenges continue, particularly in the retail sector, we are seeing more of our customers beginning to think about providing an integrated media solution for their customers as the number of customer touchpoints continues to explode. When customers make buying decisions now they look at the websites of the retailers, what their friends are saying on Facebook and Twitter, use their mobile phones in store to get the best price and also look at in-store media. With this proliferation of customer touchpoints, it is becoming increasingly important for retailers and brands to reach them in an integrated fashion.
Which brings us to EnGage. We were very pleased to launch what we believe to be the most advanced signage platform that allows brands to take an integrated view of their media offerings. In this newsletter we let you see more of its functions as well as read some case studies of how it can be used for merchandising and advertising networks.
The other area we have been active with this year is helping our clients raise money for their networks and navigate what are pretty choppy capital markets. We are pleased to attach a white paper to this newsletter which lays out a few simple dos and don’ts for anyone raising money for signage.
Finally we were very pleased to retain our number one spot as the top software supplier for digital signage by the DAILYDOOH and were also pleased to be recognised as a Tier 1 Digital Signage player by Frost & Sullivan. If you would like an overview of our current offering, please check out the overview presentation below. We look forward to serving our clients and partners even better in 2010 and beyond.
We wish you all the best for the holiday season!
Best,
Ajay Chowdhury
